Friday, April 30, 2010 It's the weekends! YAYYYY!! And Monday is a school holiday! Double yayness! Diyanah is in hospital.... But I can't go visit for a couple of reasons. Sunday meeting D to watch movieeeeee. And he taunted me coz he just realised Jubilee has Popeye's! I want Popeye's! NOW NOW NOW. How come Popeye's don't wanna open an outlet at Lot1 or something. Oh mann, cannot. Or else I will gain weight like nobody's business. Monday accompanying D for his appointment...think I'll bring along my marking so that I can occupy time when I'm alone waiting for him. Yessss sounds like a good plan. GWAHHHHHHH I hope MOE officers get the growth bonus too. *prays hard* Labels: food

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 I wanna RANT. On how hard is it to get NARS! Specifically the Gina and Gilda Blush. Nope, no Orgasm for me. Or even the SUPER Orgasm. Don't fool me with the added 'super' ok. I went to Sephora US and they didn't carry those colours. I went Ebay International and no one was selling. I went beauty.com and LO AND BEHOLD. That's why I LOVE DRUGSTORE.COM and BEAUTY.COM But I havn't clicked on the check-out button. Severely tempted but how when your pockets are housing fireflies only? Waiting for the 12th....have to do my budget plan first, set aside some money and then we can talk. Hehe. And just cause D is going through a rough patch right now, this is for you bf! D I LOVE U LAH! Get well soon LIAO and emerge stronger such that you're able to crack watermelons HOR! Or else later when we're old and brittle, I cannot walk beside you LIAO. I have to push you instead WORZ! And cheer up bby! The more you frown at your life, the less time you'll have fun with it. That's why you have ME to make cute faces, shout into your ear, jump on you to wake you up and make you listen to Class95 ALL THE TIME :)

Monday, April 26, 2010 I'm having a bout of flu when really, all I did was to watch 200 Pounds Beauty and cry like a baby. No one warned me I would end up with a blocked nose for the next couple of hours?? Saturday was awesome, we met during lunctime and I brought D to Sinaran at Blk 26 to eat Chicken Rice. Which was delish btw. Went to see D's nephew aptly nicknamed 'Chicken Little' at Yishun. We then went to Cineleisure and I was so hyped up coz Toy Story was out! . . . . . -.- Turns out it's Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3D, meaning they remade the old movies, add on effects and resell to get more revenue. Toy Story 3, the newest one will be out in May and I'm so excitedddd! Probably as excited for MAC's To The Beach collection HEH. So being the blur queen I was, we didn't know which movie to watch... Ended up watching The Bounty Hunter.
The movie was fun and romantic...a little disturbing too, Gerard Butler was sucha pig I felt bile rising up my throat. Ok drama queen, but he really is disgusting at times. HAHA. Then on Sunday, D picked me up and we went jogging! Can you believe it! At East Coast Park no less! Of course we didn't wake up bright and early, we reached ECP at about 1045. Started off with a slow run...If you know me, I didn't last very long and walked most of the way. At about 1/3 of ECP, I rented a bike and D slipped on some roller blades and we tackled the rest of ECP. Turned, and it rained!!! And I was ~cyclinggggg in the rain~. (Sing it in tune with "I'm singggging in the rain~") By then D already slipped off his blades and ran again. He's a bottomless pit, he ran so much while I cheered him on from my bike! HAHAA we were soaked and took shelter while we got some 100 plus. And D mentioned about how we will bathe anyway and change into fresh clothes and slippers. And *ping!*I forgot to bring my slippers from home! Imagine wearing a dress and tights, with jogging shoes. EEWW. So while we took shelter, D bought for me a pair of slippers from Ripple.
And then we went back to the car, and I wasn't very keen on bathing at ECP coz the floor's gonna be sandy and there was only an outdoor shower..So D drove on and we went to someplace called The Cage and we slunk into one of the futsal pitches' toilet and bathed. HAHA we SNUCK IN somebody's cage just to use the toilet! And then we were fresh-faced (OMG REALLY Plain Jane) and hungry! We went to eat Popeye's at The Singapore Flyer.

Friday, April 23, 2010 Ok, pretty weird to have a picture of a drink. But this is proof that teachers are not the only people who have great influence on their students. It's vice versa, it works both ways, yada yada. This girl from another class briefly mentioned that someone stole her drink during recess. And I asked her, what drink isit so that I can help her to find it. And she went, " It's in a white cup, it's fruit punch and blueberry mixed." And I got REAL curious and it just stayed on my mind all week! And today I gave in and bought one. It's the kind that dispenses from the machine. You know, your normal Coke, Ice Lemon Tea or Sprite drink dispenser. And the drinks vendor was like, "Your kid make you want to buy wan har?" And I was like, "YEAHHHHHH" HAHA. Taste? So-so. Predictible I guess? I drank the fruit punch once and its quite sweet. Mixed with blueberry and it wasn't that sweet in the end surprisingly. BUT LOOK AT THE GORGEOUS COLOUR! I WANT AN EYESHADOW LIKE THAT. And before this becomes a really boring post about a stupid drink, I would like to ask a question. What is up with the weather lately! Thunderstorms all around! And the kids can't concentrate on their work and one of them was so scared of thunder that his hands were clammy and shaking while he did his division models! He started tearing and his friends were all so supportive trying to calm him down. In the end I shifted him to the middle of the class and sat beside him while he did his Math. Every time there was a flash and the rumble of thunder, I patted his back to reassure him I was there. And it doesn't help that some of them will scream when the sound is sudden. Gosh....P2 kids and thunderstorms don't mix. I hate it when that happens.

O.M.G. I just realised C.T. from the tagboard is my former colleague from Cheers! It never crossed my mind that it would've been someone else coz my blog's taggers are the usual suspects right? (See, that's how you know this blog is VEH-RI FOFULER and WELL-NON.) oh come on, who says teachers can't deliberately mis-spell! Credibility is not focused on one measly post kan? And I just spoke in English and Malay in one sentence. These kinda stuff are not my pet peeves! Until I clicked on her url and it didn't say roses! *hint Su hehe* C.T! or Rohani! Or SITI ROHANI! I've missed you!! :) How come we don't crash into each other anymore!!

Monday, April 19, 2010 Just came back from dinner with the bf....3 days straight, woohoo! Rare occurance, should take a moment to let it sink it . . . . . Woohooo!! Ok done. Saturday, D fetched me after his morning run and we went to swap my Taka vouchers with Tangs vouchers at AMK. Gumtree.sg is awesome, so many responses in such short time. Stopped at AMK Central and D got 2 really nice shirts for $50 at Spade. Went shopping for some baby stuff, will explain that later. Went to his house and waited for him to bathe. Something REAL embarrassing happened while I was at his house but I shan't say it. GOD, how cherry tomato-faced I must've been. Must be cherry tomato coz even though it's red, it's still cute mah? HAHA. After that we dropped his sisters off at Centrepoint and went over to Tangs to get my hands on some MAC. ![]() Studio Fix Concealer NC30 - My old one was stolen at JB and there was probably 80% left :( Browset in Beguile Sped to D's teammate's house at Punggol for a gathering, his friend's twins turned one month and they had an open house. That's what the baby stuff was for! How nice to have twins! One girl one boy, I also want! It's like the perfect combination, you can stop right at 2 and get the best of both worlds/both sexes. Left at about 730pm and original plan was to crash Downtown East and eat sushi, but it was packed and parking was crazayy. So abandon ship and we went over to East Coast Park. Got strawberry milkshake and chili fries and we ate along the way back home... Reached home quite early too, at 915pm! Who's a good girl? :DSunday! We went out after D finished work and original plan was to catch a movie at Bukit Batok Eng Wah. But his friend said that BB Eng Wah has cockroaches! And D freaked out and didn't wanna step foot in the cinema. Hehe, I exaggerate. Anyway, we ended up at Causeway Point and got some dinner into our system.
I LOVED THE MOVIE. I even liked it better than Clash of The Titans! On par with Alice in Wonderland. Again, anyone noticed I loveee animation movies? I'm visualizing D rolling his eyes right now. Animation Movies + Makeup + Food = Story of My Life!

Sunday, April 11, 2010 ![]() ![]() Tired! Just came back from Suntec with who else, my world evolves around him. He got six, yep SIX movie vouchers from work, but cinema is only at Eng Wah. So we went to catch his movie - Clash Of The Titans 3D Only that the voucher is valid for normal movies. But whaddeheck I promised him we'll watch it so we did! Saved the vouchers for another time, since expiry isn't till next year March.Movie had an awesome plot! Can't say much about the 3D effects, I much preferred Alice in Wonderland's due to it's striking colour schemes and funky characters so the producers had more fun and leeway in that sense to fully utilise 3D. Titans was set in the 'Romans' era, and there were rubble and dirt, intricate but monotonous-coloured architecture and statues and such. Not much feast for the eyes so 3D effect was kinda swallowed. But thumbs up for the plot, definitely. And there was that one actress who was cursed with ageless? SHE WAS GORGEOUS!! I had an immediate girl-crush! So porcelain-like and the ruby lips and she just walked with an air of aloofness and humility that it's confusing and totally attractive. Ok I shall stop gushing about another woman. And then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner, D had a pasta dish and I had baked rice, we had a side of fries. And then it was time to go home :( Such a short date! *cries* Oh oh but before all these, I went to IMM alone to get some stuff from Daiso and Watson's coz my sisters were too lazy to accompany me yesterday, and bf worked morning shifts yesterday and today. I took such a long time, I was there from 330-500 and I was alone! but it goes to show I'm not dependant on anyone when I go shopping yes? Instead of meeting D straight at Suntec, he came to IMM to fetch me first coz I was taking my own sweet time and he wouldve had to wait for me anyways. I'm such a bad gf. Humph. Especially when it's payday and I go crazy shopping. I don't think anyone's interested in what I got today HAHA. Bye! Tomorrow's another work day!

Sunday, April 4, 2010 STUFF!!! ![]() 1. Jasmine Body Spray from Body Shop. Coz during that Johor incident, I brought mine there and the whole bag got stolen. So I got a new one...I love the smell and D does too. 2. Random keychain. These were going for RM1 each! I got some for my sisters and mom too. Lots of designs to choose from. From the shop at the overhead bridge that links Berjaya to Sungei Wang side. 3. Felt Rose Ring Box D surprised me with rings! And got them in this pretty rose stalk/box! We were looking for couple rings and we came across cute ring boxes at Couple Lab Illuma and I said I wanted one! And he surprised one for me! And it didn't come empty, it came with rings! ![]() The heart shape is a hole in the ring in between our names and our anniversary date was engraved on the inner side. Sweeettttttt.![]() 4. Obviously fake Chanel glasses. From Petaling Street, D got us a great deal! 3 glasses for RM50...I got my huge ones, got my dad and D got himself one too, Oakley-like ones. 5. Fake Guess Wallet. Meow! How pretty and elaborate-looking is that? The blue was such a striking colour, I just got to have it. D marked it down for me from RM60->RM40->RM25. Snakeskin anyone? Fake wan laaa! I love my new wallet, it looks expensive when it really isn't! And material isn't flimsy, it's quite sturdy and I forsee myself using the wallet for times to come.So pretty! I get compliments on the bag whenever I bring it to work! The badges on the bag makes it look current and the space in the bag is HUGE even though it looks small. 7. Platform heels Got it for RM29.90 at Berjaya Times, D picked it up for me. I told him I want something I can wear to school as well.....Wore this to clubbing that night and I wore it again yesterday when the family went to Tepak Sireh for dinner. Comfortable and strappy, I'm happy with the purchase. 8. Rimmel's Lipstick in DreamyCan't remember how much this was, RM26.90 I think? Got it at KLCC Watsons on the way back from Aquaria when we spotted Tao Kae Noi Tom Yum seaweed and had to get a pack. Thought of getting Airy Fairy again since it got stolen too, but I wanted to give another colour a try. Colour is a frosted pinky mauve. It looks ok on me but I can't help thinking I look old, just coz my mother favours frosty lipsticks and it's a mental thing ya' know? 9. Pecan Blush Pot. Got stolen so got a new one. End of story. 10. Empty four pan palette for new shadows. 11. Eyeshadows in...hmmmmm I forgot! I know the puple is Wine Purple. The other two I totally forgot! -.- 12. Last but not least, my anklet that I got from a Wholesale Silver retailer; Silver Star at Sungei Wang. Got this at RM39 i think. So those are the stuff I got on the trip! I was more estatic at the food we ate rather than the stuff we bought HAHA. (Voice-over: SUSHI KING ZOMG)

KL Trip: Day 4 Last day! Nothing much to report, again we woke up late and had a krispy kreme breakfast. Tsk tsk not healthy. Then spent the rest of the time packing up and stuffing all our purchases into our bags... We checked out and claimed our deposits, left our bags with the concierge and went shopping for last minute stuff. Got my anklet at Sungei Wang....of course D had to get his fried banana BALLS haha. We walked a long way to have lunch at somewhere around Lot10 i think. D says the chicken rice is good. ![]() Ordered half-chicken and two plates of rice....calamari rings and my kangkong! It was good, nothing memorable but it was a decent meal. We couldn't finish the chicken obviously though D is a big chicken-eater, but we got through most of it :) Then we went back to Berjaya for a last minute game of bowling. Two games actually. HAHA. And after getting high and all that shiz, we got a cup of Baskin N' Robbins Bubblegum ice cream and went back for our bags. The concierge couldn't find our bags! And neither could we! And i was about to succumb into my panicky mode when D spotted them behind some other bags. Coz we were about to be late for our bus and I was so scared we might get left behind. We quickly went to where our bus should be waiting, and there was a bus waiting. But we were supposed to check in our presence first at the East Wing hotel lobby. So D told me to wait for him and he quickly ran up the slope to the lobby to check us in. And turns out, that isn't our bus. Our bus is yet to come -.- A few minutes later, a nicer looking double-decker bus came and woohoo it was ours! And so we boarded and made ourselves comfy. D started getting worried about coming back to Singapore coz of his dream last night. And his sombre mood kinda affected the atmosphere and I myself got worried too. But everything was ok, it was typical of him to think of worst case scenarios when in actuality, it isn't that bad! So we breezed through the checkpoint and blahblah, took the mrt home, said our goodbyes and returned back to our families. So that's the low-down of our trip! Did I bore you guys? I love him even more after the trip....it really did bring us closer and we learnt so much about each other...He learnt to be patient coz his gf takes hours to get ready, I learnt to trust him with my 'life', that he knows what he's doing and I should let him take the lead... And we both explored our love for Japanese food and sports....it was awesome. Let's plan another trip!

KL Trip: Day 3 Whoa, how long have I procrastinated? Day three we skipped breakfast again. Talk about wasteful I mean, how often do you get to eat buffet breakfast? We got the krispy kremes out and ate some before leaving the room. We went to KLCC! Took the "overhead" LRT from Imbi station to Dang Wangi, cross over and took the "underground" Kelana Jaya line to KLCC. ![]() Met a caucasian couple who got lost at Dang Wangi and we told them to follow us since we're going to KLCC too. We're such good people, no? Once we reached, we had lunch! Wanted to eat at the food court for once, but bad timing it was exactly lunch time for staff as well so every food joint was crowded. We ended up at Sushi King again and I ate a set meal this time round. D of course got his Piri Piri Chicken -.- in his defense, that set was delicious too. I got a Tempura Udon set. No picture this time lol my phone died on me. Pictures taken with bf's phone. After lunch, we went to Aquaria! This was my birthday gift to him plus the fish spa. We got in at a MyKad rate coz I guess we looked Malaysian? Well I don't mind being compared to KL-Malaysians coz most of em' got styleeee. Haha. After a visit to the aquarium, we went for the fish spa which is included in the package I took. We got in for RM128 (MyKad rate) for two I think, Aquaria + Aquazone(fish therapy). First time for both of us and we spent the first 15 mins just staring at the fish coz we were scared to put our feet in the water. You dip a toe in it, and these fishes just rise up and come towards your toe in a whole school. It was scary, it's a mental thing. If you don't know what a fish spa is, you put your feet into a pool of water with fishes in it. A specific breed of fish that feed on dead skin cells and so in actual fact, you are paying to give 'food' to their fishes. Humph. But you end up with clean feet so....win-win situation. HAHA. ![]() ![]() I overcame it by shutting my eyes and just took the plunge. The fish were small so the suctions were not really hurtful, it was just ticklish. The huge-ass ones were the one you gotta be careful of. You can feel their teeny bites and I think some people get off of things like that? D tried the huge ones in a separate pool with a couple of other people but I was too chicken. Feet looked and felt clean after the 'treatment' and then we made our way back to Berjaya Times. Took a cab with an agreed RM10 but the roads were quite jammed up and the driver asked for an extra RM2 once we've reached. We didn't have change and the driver had the gall to be pissed off with us and told us to alight NOW. Prfft, we're never going to see him again anyway so yea we alighted and forgot about it. I kinda got into a squabble with D coz I felt we should've gave him a little more but D was right...we didn't have the change so just forget it.. And it didn't help that he was like a driver from hell! He zoomed at high speed and overtook dangerously, we were so scared for our lives! All because he wanted to get his RM10 worth. Cabs from Malaysia will go by the meter but quote you a price a little higher so that they can get a little profit to put into their own sneaky pockets. When we arrived at Berjaya, meter was at RM9.40 and so he demanded an extra RM2 so that he can have a little more profit than just 60cents...capiche? Anyway, we went shopping for stuff coz we planned on something that night, I got myself a pair of platform sandals, accessories....and I got makeup just coz haha. D got himself a shirt and shoes. After getting what was neccessary, got Wendy's takeaway for dinner, D got their burger which was delicious btw, I got just a simple sour cream and chives baked potato which was meh. Didn't finish it. D watched a vcd that he just bought, Police Academy i believe? While I took a nap coz I knew I won't last the night. Coz......................we're going clubbing! I know, I know, I've never clubbed before, I'm not that kind of person and neither is D. He clubbed before, but he doesn't anymore coz he clubs to socialize with his friends, not bcoz he likes the act of it. And I begged him to bring me to a club so I can experience it. It's a I-have-to-experience-it-once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing so that I can officially say I've done it, but I don't like it.
