    I'm dying for a holiday!
Not because work is hectic...it's just coz I want to get away from everything and do stuff that I wanna do with who I wanna go with for like 4 days straight. Please please please make March come faster :(

I was tickled when one day I was dismissing the class for recess, and suddenly this boy came up to me and asked, "Can you predict the future?"
HAHA. So random. Really these kids can be pretty adorable sometimes.
This is the same boy who follows the canteen cleaning auntie everytime during recess coz he claims, "It's really interesting, and I feel like there's a signal telling me to come to her and the rubbish."

Anyway, pretty excited about tomorrow. Am going to meet up with some of my primary school friends somewhere near my house. An impromptu gathering to see what everybody is doing now that 9 years have passed... Just a small group of about 6, but pretty cool nonetheless yes?
Appreciate the fact that D allowed me to go...

He and me, we have trust issues....coz we dont wanna take risks with each other coz we care too much for that to happen.
This also means that I will have to allow him to go out with his group of friends if they have a gathering as well. I will trust that boy, I will.
Even if it's scary and I hate thinking of What Ifs, I will try my hardest not to keep msging him when he's out.

On another note, I miss Popeye's mashed potatoes, coleslaw and cajun fries :(
WTH, why don't I miss the chicken itself?

    Greetings from Shen-toe-shaaaaaa!

Anyway, yea yesterday we spent the day at Harbourfront. Before that, had Long John's breakfast at Plaza Sing. I ordered for us while he went to park the car, and he took so long that our food got cold GRR.

Great weather, thank god for that...Went to Vivo and got snacks from Giant and some other stuff. Went to watch The Spy Next Door, the new Jackie Chan movie. Bf wanted the Gold Class experience again even though its the weekends and so ex! But whos complaining, I love the privacy and comfort too! And he's the one reaching for his wallet not me :D
of course, I will chip in for our food, I'm not *that* spoilt.

And then we went to Sentosa..before driving in we saw his brother who just finished work and so we got in for freeeee~
Walked along the beach, Bf regretted wearing his racing shirt and wanted to buy a sleeveless tee but he managed to tame his inner shopping devil-so proud of him. Got him his Ben N Jerry's, and we basically lazed around and chilled, took the trams and all.

See that last picture! The one where my face looks 'fresh'!
Bf wanted to take a bath first before our Songs Of The Sea Show at 740pm. And he always brings his toiletries everywhere coz he bathes at work before going home. So I said, I wanna bathe too! And it was great coz I recommended him my Clearasil facial wash last month so he's using it too, so I bathed and washed my face and we both smelled exactly the same right?
But then I only brought my touch-up makeup which encompasses only my pressed powder, a lip balm, the lipstick I wore that day, my blush and blush brush, and an all-over color stick. I can't wear my pressed powder without a moisturizer or I'll look very patchy.
So we scoured the 7eleven at Beach Station and also at Palawan but they didnt have one! I took a risk and got this from Sentosa's Island Shop for $6.

I think it's a body moisturizer and I used a pea-sized amount on my face! Nothing happened to my face thank god, but I stored this away with the other sun-screen lotions now. *shudder*

It was Bf's first time watching it and he liked it very much :) I was glad to accompany him though I've watched it umpteen times when I worked there two years ago.
Bf got me one more bear yesterday. I know right! 6th Bear now! To apologize for being rude to me the day before when he was having a bad day...
Got me a Hopeful Heart Bear - is brimming with hope and happiness. She knows a positive outlook is very important. Hopeful Heart always looks on the bright side and knows how to share her hopeful ways with others. Her tummy is a heart glowing with a rainbow of happy rays.
He got me my favourite Pocky Strawberry too! We had our pictures taken by the Digi crew in front of the Oscar statue and we got 2 small wallet-sized pictures, plus 2 keychains and 1 8R photo for $25... Finallyyy for the first time ever, I have my bf's photo in my wallet.

Bf picked me up from work yesterday all burned up so we got some chicken porridge into his system and he swallowed some panadol extras. And he got all better in an hour! See, I told him I have the magic "touch". And then we went to Lot 1 and he got me our mandatory month-sary carebear! 4th month - 4th bear.

You can probably see in the background, the first "bear" bf ever bought for me. On our second date. It's a customized palm-sized bear in a round globe holding a heart that has the letters, "Specially for Ina". I place it on my makeup table coz thats where I spend most of my time at. HAHA. See, I was spoilt on my 2nd date, no wonder I'm spoilt even up til now.

    Work of Heart Bear~

Says that she's artistic, imaginative and reminds us that we all have the ability to express ourselves if we put our hearts into it. She shows her love of creativity with her tummy symbol, an artist's palette with hearts.

Isn't she pretty!! All colourful and so very dear.

But D got me one more thing!

A slightly larger Good Luck Bear which.......wait for it.......

    HAS SPEAKERS IN ITS FEET!

So I plug my MP3 to the wire and music blasts from its 2 green feet! How damn cute is that! And D gave me his Kube MP3 so yay! One more MP3 for me!

He fetched me home again today and we went Sheng Siong to get tidbits coz I can die without my snacks at school. Can't wait to meet him on Sunday, he got vouchers for Giant and Guardian again and he said I can buy stuff too! Lucky boy and I feel the luckiest to be able to steal some. Yayyyyyyyyyy! :D

16 Jan 2010 - gave me the worst/best shopping hangover ever. I wanna go shopping again :(

    From Aeon Tebrau City, JB

    Elianto~

    1. Pink Travel Makeup Bag RM35
This is like the size of a Macdonald's Happy Meal HAHA. Has 2 compartments; top zipper holds 5 brushes in slots and comes with a mirror tag. Has some space of about 5cm height for extra stuff. Lower zipper is spacious and ideal for my small makeup collection :)

    2. Color Studio Aurora eyeshadow in Toasted Brown RM8
Has green and gold shimmer and this is the darkest brown they have. Elianto's eyeshadows are quite pigmented if you havnt already known...Too bad they don't have a store in S'pore :(

    3. Matte Blush Pot in Pecan RM25
Bf chose this colour for me out of the many swatches I made...so naturally I got it. Colour reminds me of NYX's Raisin blush, I dunno why. It's like 81% beige, 18% mauve, 1% red.

    Watson's~

    4. Johnson's Baby Shampoo RM6.90
To clean my brushes. DUH, I don't have a kid HAHA.

    5. Oral-B Kids' Toothbrush RM6.50
Got a separate toothbrush to scrub dead skin from my lips to make them more kissable HAHA. Only discovered this method, so sorry if I'm a little behind. Again, obviously I don't have a kid -.-

    6. Nivea Lip Care in Strawberry RM7.90
Smells yummy! Like strawberry bubblegum! Sadly leaves a sheer red sheen on your lips so I gave this to my little sister..Red lips and me don't mix.

    7. Revlon Matte Eyeliner in Pure White RM27.90
On days I need to brighten up my eyes rather than to look fierce in black! edit18Jan: I wore this to work today from 1030am - 8pm and there were still some left on my waterline! Woohoo!

    8. Rimmel Lip Liner in Eastend Snob RM15.90
My lip colour. For days lipstick should NEVER slide off.

    9. Rimmel Lipstick in Airy Fairy RM19.90
NOT AVAILABLE IN SINGAPORE! Of course had to get one to try out. I've heard alot about this liptick, finally own it! Smells like scented erasers!

    From Sephora at Ion Orchard~

Honeylove Lipstick (matte), Angel Lipstick (frost), FixPlus (gift), Pinch O' Peach (sheertone), Springsheen (sheertone shimmer)
    Lipstick: SGD28
    Blush: SGD35
Awesomeeeeeeeee MAC lipsticks smell of vanillaaaaaaaa.

Airy Fairy is a pinkish nude that is darker than MAC's Angel but lighter than my NYX's Thalia. Honeylove is not exactly a beige nude, as it shows up a little pink. NYX's Circe is still my true beige...Blankety was sold out, alot of nudes were sold out actually :(

Colours are SOOOO not true to the pictures. I should invest in a proper camera. I need to look for sponsors HAHA.

Ok time to sleep, work tomorrow, good night!

    Yesterday was JB shopping day!

Initially it was only me and bf but then his parents and one of his uncle wanted to follow so all of us drove across the causeway. Was quite apprehensive at first coz I've only met his parents once during Hari Raya...but all was good and I find his parents really really cute together! They're like small-sized, his father especially whos shorter than his mum....and he has laugh lines as he is forever smiling. His mum is really endearing, and she cracks her own jokes at the most opportune time LOL. I'm glad they came along, I got to know them deeper and share laughs with them.

I wanted to go Aeon Tebrau City for the longest time so D promised we'll go. But none of us knew how to go there! So D whipped out his iPhone, did GPS and behold! we got a route to Aeon from Singapore. Nifty little thing that iPhone...along the way we stopped at Pandan City for lunch. Had naan bread there - real yummy and soft.
Here, D ate chicken rice and accidently spilled soup on my top! Like, NO WAY THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ME BEFORE I EVEN START SHOPPING. But his mum was quick to whip out her wet wipes so I didn't end up stinking like chicken oil and the spot dried up pretty fast and left the barest of stains. Fact that the shirt was brownish green helped too. Shops at Pandan City only opens at 5pm onwards so we couldn't shop there.

We continued on to Aeon and parking was fast. We went shopping as a group but gradually dispersed only to come together again soon, so that's good. We went to Body Shop and D got a body spray and perfume. Got his mum a perfume too and the bill came to a whopping RM219. For 3 items! And not such big bottles either...pretty small actually. He regretted not checking the price first but we got a membership card out of it so that's one positive note. I told him to just let it go, the perfumes smelled great and we'll know not to get fragrances from Body Shop next time...

He accompanied me to get my makeup stuff and toiletries from Watson's, Elianto and Jusco(makeup-related post coming next)...and of course his parents got their household stuff. After about 5 hours at Aeon, we left for chendol at Larkin coz his dad was craving for it but we got lost. Ended up at Setulang instead to quench the craving and we got 19 Ramly Burgers to-go for the family back home. 19 u guys, it held up the queue so bad HAHA.

Then it's back to Singapore, sent his uncle and parents home, and then D and I raced against time to Ion Orchard coz I wanted to get some stuff from Sephora and he's never been there before... Good thing they were still open, we arrived at like 935pm HAHA.

Then on the way home, his iPhone blacked out while I was using it! I was so scared I damaged it one way or another, and he was frustrated things like these always happen at the last minute. Coz he planned to drive up to Malacca today with his family and he wouldn't have the time to repair it before morning shift on Mon. It was dangerously silent in the car let me tell you....but he eventually calmed down and wanted to go down to Starhub this morning.

    AND GUESS WHAT.

He let his phone rest the whole night right? And this morning he tried switching it on and it wouldn't start coz that's how it was yesterday right?

He charged it longer this time and suddenly the phone came back to life, showing that it had been running on low battery. I was so relieved and equally annoyed. All the fuss for nothing! GRRRR.

Our tired faces after 12 hours out.
I wanna go back to Aeon and see a movie! Had to scrap the initial plan coz it would've been rude to keep your elders waiting...

We went to cityhall where D had a soccer game at SRC.
The wind was whipping whips mann!
After that we went to Army Market for dinner with the whole team.
I made friends with Alias' gf.
I realised that my bf is actually quite a joker.
    HAHA.
I never should've worn red and white, some people teased me, said I was a true blue Singaporean girl :(
Yea right, if I work for SIA and am wearing the blue kebaya, then you can come up and say that. -.-

Last thursday was a sweeeettttttt day. For once, I left school smiling and satisfied with myself for surviving the day and doing a pretty good job.
It got even more sweeter when my long awaited package from drugstore.com finally came. At 9pm no less! I was confused when my sister burst into my room and told me there's a postman outside our gate when it's so dark outside? But mann! I'm so glad it came!

Coz I only ordered 10 items through vconcierge, there's a whole lot of extra space in the box. Instead of bubble-wrapping everything or scattering those foam thingies, they put in a bio-degradable inflatable air bag! It's the first I've seen, it was quite interesting HAHA. And everything came in good condition. Me a happy girl :)

    1. Physician's Formula (*I'm gonna shorten this to PF) Gentle Cover Stick Concealer in Yellow

My ELF Cover Stick fails miserably to cover my under-eye circles so i switched to using it as an "eye primer". This one however is a winner! This works soooo good that I'm afraid of using it up and I'll have to order again. And there won't be a sale anymore so I'll have to pay double the price! Mann. So I dot my Loreal True Match under my eyes and pat it in, then use a little of this where the puffiness of my eyes end so that it blends with my skin. Confused much?

2.PF / Organic Wear Eyeliner in Black Night

I much prefer this over my Maybelline Unstoppable "Smudge-proof" eyeliner. That one leaves streaks under my eyes after a few hours and I keep having to re-apply. Panda eyes anyone? I like the fact that Organic Wear's has a pretty leafy design on the pencil and it's very creamy that it glides on easily. Color is a true black, thank god. Some black eyeliners comes off as grey or even a little blue. This does smudge a little but staying power is quite good.

3.PF Powder Palette Multi-Colored Face Powder in Translucent

Used this once as a setting powder. Truthfully, I didn't see a difference in my appearance when wearing this over my foundation. But the mosaic pattern looks pretty in my makeup drawer :)

    4. PF / Organic Wear Pressed Powder in Warm Beige

I have not worn this coz I'm trying to finish up my SilkyGirl one first. But honestly, how many powders are shaped to look like a pretty leafy imprint? Not many LOL.

    5. CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara in Very Black

Finally I understand what the hype is about. Lengthens and especially volumizes lashes like no one's business. Really fat wand but I feel that I have more control when doing my lashes with this. My NYX Doll-eye has taken a backseat, this is my current favourite mascara :)

    6. CoverGirl Trushine Lip Color in Nude Shine

Sheer wash of color so I usually swipe this back and forth more than twice. Tube is a little taller than my other lippies but the design is gorgeouss. It's a silver reflective tube, so it creates a 3D rainbow-lines impression. So pretty. This is my go-to nude lipstick for work. In the tube it looks like a cream pink, but on your lips it's more beige.

    7. Queen Helene Oatmeal 'n' Honey Natural Facial Scrub

Doesn't it sound delicious? I was anticipating a delicious waft from the tube that would have me battling whether to have a taste-test of the scrub. When I first smelled it though, I thought of insect spray. I am not kidding, and I think there are people who would agree with me. But don't be turned off just yet, coz in the shower it smells somewhat pleasant..Almost soothing.

It's supposed to be a daily cleanser, but I'm using this as an exfoliator since it has tiny black beads (oatmeal?) that serves the purpose. So every 3 days or after I wore heavy makeup that day and after removing everything with makeup wipes, I would reach for this.

    8. Wet 'n' Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in Sun-Kissed

Sheer is the word. This doesn't cover my redness or blemishes that would've otherwise been covered by my normal foundation. Has SPF 15 and has a light consistency that reminds me of my Clean N Clear Moisturizer. It's not thick, at the same time doesn't run all over the place. For work - yes. For dates and outings with friends? A definite no-no.

    9. Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner in Blackest Black

Comparable to Loreal's Lineur Intense as they both have the exact same felt tip that makes drawing on the upperlids so easy! I wore this yesterday and it didn't flake or smudge on me like my gel liner did. And I was out for more than 7 hours! This was a surprise loveeeee. Color didnt fade and stayed true to first application. OMG. I love this.

    10. Maybelline Superstay 24Hr Liquid Foundation in True Beige

I know alot of people swear by Revlon Colorstay and I thought it does cover really well! But I found that this does too, without the thick consistency that Revlon has. Everytime I pour out foundation onto my hand, I find Revlon dries up fast so it makes application very rushed for me. Maybelline's Superstay feels lighter and doesnt dry as fast when I pour it out. It doesn't have the plasticky smell Revlon has either. And the one thing why I love this is coz it matches my skintone perfectly as I don't have a matching shade from Revlon.
Why oh whyyy won't they bring this into Singaporeeee!

    So that's all that I ordered~
Would've ordered so much more, except for the fact that drugstore.com requires a US credit card if I wanted to ship via VpostUSA but I was using my debit card. International shipping was ridiculous! It was like USD120 for 11 items! So I got these through Vconcierge that limits orders to only 10 items. Sighhh. I have to find a new avenue if I wanna order from that website again. Sprees maybe? We'll see...

Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 - tick!

On the 3rd of January thanks D! Yayyyy! I'm still reeling from the pitchy voice overload even though its been 3 days.
School has reopened and most of the teachers are having withdrawal syptoms HAHA. One month away from school can work wonders really. I have high hopes for my new class, hopefully my gut instinct is right.
I'm sooo looking forward to payday so bf and I can go to Johor to eat and shop our hearts out. My hands are itching to get more makeup and clothes. I have one last package due soon, but it's taking an awful long time to come and its not funny. GRR.
Anyway, hope the first week of the new year has been going well for all of you! :)
